Welcome to the PAS Strategic Visioning Training Survey

The Planning Advisory Service and the Design Network are developing a national training programme to support authorities in embedding design and placemaking into strategic planning and growth strategies. This short survey will help us shape the programme so it reflects real challenges, priorities and delivery contexts across different authorities. The survey should take approximately 5 to 7 minutes to complete. Responses will be reviewed by the project team and PAS to inform programme development. Individual responses will not be published or attributed without permission. Your input will play an important role in shaping a national training offer designed to support authorities in delivering high-quality, design-led growth.

This survey is being conducted by The Design Network as part of our work for the Planning Advisory Service. We are collecting limited professional information, including organisation, region and job role, in order to inform research and service development. Completion of the survey is voluntary. Responses will be analysed and reported in aggregate form, and individuals will not be identified in any published outputs. The lawful basis for processing this data is our legitimate interests in carrying out research and improving services for the planning sector. Survey data will be stored securely within our organisation’s access controlled Google Workspace systems. Access to raw data is restricted to the project team. Data will be retained for no longer than six months following closure of the survey, after which it will be deleted. Raw data may be shared securely with PAS for the purposes of analysis and reporting. Under UK data protection law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, to request correction or deletion, and to object to or restrict processing in certain circumstances.
