    Design South East is an independent not-for-profit organisation working across the wider south east, delivering expert design advice, facilitation and training for local authorities, the development sector and communities.

  • Midlands

    Design:Midlands is the independent, impartial resource providing design support for local authorities, communities, decision makers, housebuilders, businesses and design professionals.

  • Yorkshire and Humber

    Design Yorkshire provides independent and impartial design support throughout Yorkshire & Humber. Working closely with local authorities, government agencies, and design teams.

  • North West

    Places Matter is an Architecture & Built Environment Centre that works across the public and private sectors to drive up the skills and knowledge of all those involved in new development in the North West.

  • North East

    designe Ltd is the new name for design_north east. We support local authorities, public sector bodies, councillors, communities and developers to design better and more sustainable places, helping to stimulate economic and good growth. We are dedicated to generating a strong sense of place in living, working and leisure environments throughout North East England and further afield.

  • West

    Design West provide design review, policy support, & training for the South West. Independent & not-for-profit, we bring together expertise from across the built and natural environment sectors. We work with designers and decision-makers to shape better places. In 2021, The Architecture Centre joined with Creating Excellence to extend our services across the entire region.

  • London

    UDL support and inspire the capital’s built-environment professionals to create great spaces and places. Our London and National training programmes give local authorities access to our bespoke Placemaking events, including design code training. Alongside our design review services, we offer critical friend, planning and design resources on both a local and national scale.
